Journey of Passion
We are Chris and Tessa, full-time nomads since November 2020 with our baby named Ellie and scruffy dog Sandy. Chris was a paramedic straight out of high school, then served in the military for a decade. Tessa is a registered nurse. With Chris' experience gained from learning and driving trucks in the army, combined with both our unfortunate encounters in the medical field when things go wrong .. the passion for education and safety began. I’m sure many of you can relate, when we became parents we had an overwhelming desire to keep our little one safe, whilst we lived our life on the road. With our new caravan and truck, we were very particular with weights, making sure we ae not only legal but safe. Across our travels we realised there is a gap in the market in terms of mobile vehicle weighing without having to go out of your way .. and that was how ‘the nomad weigh’ was formed.

Every weighing session is an opportunity to enlighten and ensure the safety of our fellow road wanderers. Offering ample time for adjustments, and providing demonstrations and insights, we help you grasp the importance of weight management for your vehicle.
